Low density pulpers PBD

ST Macchine low density pulpers, with an operating consistency of 4 to 5%, are nevertheless efficient for  the defibering of waste furnish and virgin pulp and may be operated both in continuous or batch operation.

Drive can be by “V” belts or gearbox depending on power installed Impellers of different diameters designed for lower energy consumptions (compared to traditional types).

The removal of heavy contaminants is performed by a junk trap placed in the bottom part of the vat, the lighter ones are sent to the Pulper Washer while other contaminants still contained in the vat are removed by ancillary equipment produced by ST Macchine as ragger and rope cutter.
